Both Juliana and Maxima sported pearls for day one of the couple’s foreign trip. The first lady looked elegant for her arrival to Amsterdam wearing a white tweed coat and matching dress that featured pearl detailing, while the Dutch Queen wore a Mattijs van Bergen Coppens Lelies jacket and skirt, which she accessorized with a statement pearl necklace, earrings and a conical style fascinator.

After visiting the Anne Frank House earlier in the day, the women dazzled at a state banquet held in honor of the Argentine president and his wife at the Royal Palace in Amsterdam. Maxima exuded glamour donning a strapless dusty pink embellished gown by Jan Taminiau. The royal completed her regal look wearing the Diamond Bandeau tiara and a necklace from the House Diamond Parure, which was last worn in public by former Queen Juliana of the Netherlands. The first lady also stunned at the royal affair wearing a long-sleeve navy gown that featured snowflake-like embellishments and drop diamond earrings.

Following a glamorous night at the palace, Maxima and Juliana stepped out on Tuesday to visit the Center for Youth and Family in The Hague, before touring the Mauritshuis art museum. The stylish duo looked like the best of friends as they strolled arm-in-arm to the museum. During their visit to the Mauritshuis museum, the monarch and Juliana admired Johannes Vermeer’s famous "Girl with a Pearl Earring" oil painting.

Maxima sparkled during the day wearing an embellished purple coat and skirt by Claes Iversen. Meanwhile Juliana opted for a simpler look wearing a baby blue coat over a matching lace dress. The first lady's recent trip abroad isn't the first time she's shown off her royal-worthy style. Last month Juliana continually wowed alongside Spain's Queen Letizia during her and her husband's visit to Madrid, Spain.
